Breakfast date with Oscar Wilde in the French Quarters of New Orleans. I ordered the French Toast Monte Cristo and a coffee. It’s so funny how the right novels can come into your life at just the right time. I’m really enjoying The Portrait of Dorian Grey at the moment. I picked it up at a used bookstore on my first day in Uptown New Orleans, because this Latino guy I met in the Bay Area of California who loves literature and used books told me to read anything written by his favorite author, Oscar Wilde.
